But what is Nature’s Brew, you ask? Well, it’s a special extract made from compost that’s been carefully crafted using the latest scientific methods. We start by using the Johnson-Su bioreactor to create the most nutrient-rich compost possible. And then, using Haney, PLFA Biological assays and a DNA test, we make sure that the compost is teeming with the right kind of microbes – the kind that help to liberate minerals from the soil, making them available to plants in a process called the rhizophagy cycle.
Once we’ve got the perfect compost, we use it to brew up a special elixir – Nature’s Brew – that’s packed full of the same microbes that help plants to grow big and strong. And when we apply this life force to our yards, farms, orchards, and vineyards, we see some amazing results!
First, the compacted, lifeless dirt starts to come alive with trillions of tiny creatures – the microbes that help to break down organic matter, liberate minerals from aggregates and stones to create the perfect environment for plant growth. And as these little creatures do their work, they also communicate with one another using a process called quorum sensing.
This means that they can “talk” to each other, and when there are enough of them around, they start to produce special chemicals called autoinducers. These chemicals help the microbes to work together in harmony, creating an ecosystem in the soil that’s as complex and interconnected as a rainforest!
